इस शिक्षा का अर्थ है की यीशु मसीह ने क्रूस पर सबकी सजा नहीं भोगी; वो सिर्फ कुछ चुने हुए लोगों के लिए ही मरा. यदि सब के लिए मरता तो कोई भी नरक नहीं जाता. क्या परमेश्वर यीशु मसीह को किसी पापी का दंड देकर वापस उस पापी को नरक में डाल सकता है? नहीं? परमेश्वर अन्यायी नहीं. यीशु मसीह सिर्फ कुछ चुने हुए लोगों के लिए ही मरा.
हम सब जानते हैं की यदि परमेश्वर अपने पुत्र को भेज कर हम में से किसी को नहीं बचाता और सम्पूर्ण मानव जाती को नरक में दंड देता तो भी वो पूरी तरह धर्मी होता, क्योंकि हम इसी योग्य है.
यदि आप में से कोई भी यह सोचता है की परमेश्वर को हमे उद्धार का एक मौका तो देना ही पड़ेगा, तो वह परमेश्वर के गॉस्पेल और अनुग्रह से बहुत दूर है. हमको यह भी समझना होगा की परमेश्वर यदि अपना बेटा नहीं देता तो भी वह उतना ही अर्थात अनंत प्रेमी रहता. बस एक चीज़ नहीं हो पाती- उसके प्रेम और अनुग्रह का प्रदर्शन नहीं हो पाता. परमेश्वर ने अपने प्रेम और अनुग्रह की प्रशंसा और महिमा के लिए कुछ लोगों को बचाना चुना और कुछ को अपने न्याय और क्रोध की प्रशंसा और महिमा के लिए नरक जाने के लिए छोड़ दिया. हमे यह समझना है की जो चुने हुए लोग बच रहें हैं उनको उनके कर्मों का फल नहीं मिल रहा; उनको अनुग्रह मिल रहा है. जो नरक जा रहें हैं उनको न्याय अर्थात अपने कर्मों का फल मिल रहा है
. अन्याय किसी को नहीं मिल रहा. तो सवाल यह नहीं की परमेश्वर कुछ ही लोगों को क्यों बचा रहा है; सबको क्यों नहीं. सवाल यह है की परमेश्वर किसी को भी क्यों बचा रहा है.

Jn 10:14-18
I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, 15 just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep. 16 And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd.
14. अच्छा चरवाहा मैं हूं; जिस तरह पिता मुझे जानता है, और मैं पिता को जानता हूं।
15. इसी तरह मैं अपनी भेड़ों को जानता हूं, और मेरी भेड़ें मुझे जानती हैं, और मैं भेड़ों के लिये अपना प्राण देता हूं।
16. और मेरी और भी भेड़ें हैं, जो इस भेड़शाला की नहीं; मुझे उन का भी लाना अवश्य है, वे मेरा शब्द सुनेंगी; तब एक ही झुण्ड और एक ही चरवाहा होगा।

Jn 10:16
I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd.
16. और मेरी और भी भेड़ें हैं, जो इस भेड़शाला की नहीं; मुझे उन का भी लाना अवश्य है, वे मेरा शब्द सुनेंगी; तब एक ही झुण्ड और एक ही चरवाहा होगा।
Jn 11:51-52
He did not say this of his own accord, but being high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the nation, 52 and not for the nation only, but also to gather into one the children of God who are scattered abroad.
51. यह बात उस ने अपनी ओर से न कही, परन्तु उस वर्ष का महायाजक होकर भविष्यद्वणी की, कि यीशु उस जाति के लिये मरेगा।
52. और न केवल उस जाति के लिये, वरन इसलिये भी, कि परमेश्वर की तित्तर बित्तर सन्तानों को एक कर दे।
Jn 17:1-2
When Jesus had spoken these words, he lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, “Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son that the Son may glorify you, 2 since you have given him authority over all flesh, to give eternal life to all whom you have given him.
1. यीशु ने ये बातें कहीं और अपनी आंखे आकाश की ओर उठाकर कहा, हे पिता, वह घड़ी आ पहुंची, अपने पुत्र की महिमा कर, कि पुत्र भी तेरी महिमा करे।
2. क्योंकि तू ने उस को सब प्राणियों पर अधिकार दिया, कि जिन्हें तू ने उस को दिया है, उन सब को वह अनन्त जीवन दे।
Jn 17:6-10
“I have manifested your name to the people whom you gave me out of the world. Yours they were, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word. 7 Now they know that everything that you have given me is from you. 8 For I have given them the words that you gave me, and they have received them and have come to know in truth that I came from you; and they have believed that you sent me. 9 I am praying for them. I am not praying for the world but for those whom you have given me, for they are yours. 10 All mine are yours, and yours are mine, and I am glorified in them.
जगत से जिन मनुष्यों को तूने मुझे दिया, मैंने उन्हें तेरे नाम का बोध कराया है। वे लोग तेरे थे किन्तु तूने उन्हें मुझे दिया और उन्होंने तेरे वचन का पालन किया।
17:7
अब वे जानते हैं कि हर वह वस्तु जो तूने मुझे दी है, वह तुझ ही से आती है।

19. और उन के लिये मैं अपने आप को पवित्र करता हूं ताकि वे भी सत्य के द्वारा पवित्र किए जाएं।
20. मैं केवल इन्हीं के लिये बिनती नहीं करता, परन्तु उन के लिये भी जो इन के वचन के द्वारा मुझ पर विश्वास करेंगे, कि वे सब एक हों।

John 17:24-26
Father, I desire that they also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory that you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world. 25 O righteous Father, even though the world does not know you, I know you, and these know that you have sent me. 26 I made known to them your name, and I will continue to make it known, that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.”
24. हे पिता, मैं चाहता हूं कि जिन्हें तू ने मुझे दिया है, जहां मैं हूं, वहां वे भी मेरे साथ हों कि वे मेरी उस महिमा को देखें जो तू ने मुझे दी है, क्योंकि तू ने जगत की उत्पत्ति से पहिले मुझ से प्रेम रखा।

19. फिर उस ने रोटी ली, और धन्यवाद करके तोड़ी, और उन को यह कहते हुए दी, कि यह मेरी देह है, जो तुम्हारे लिये दी जाती है: मेरे स्मरण के लिये यही किया करो।
20. इसी रीति से उस ने बियारी के बाद कटोरा भी यह कहते हुए दिया कि यह कटोरा मेरे उस लोहू में जो तुम्हारे लिये बहाया जाता है नई वाचा है।
Rom 8:31-34
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? 33 Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. 34 Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised— who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.
31. सो हम इन बातों के विषय में क्या कहें? यदि परमेश्वर हमारी ओर है, तो हमारा विरोधी कौन हो सकता है?
32. जिस ने अपने निज पुत्र को भी न रख छोड़ा, परन्तु उसे हम सब के लिये दे दिया: वह उसके साथ हमें और सब कुछ क्योंकर न देगा?
33. परमेश्वर के चुने हुओं पर दोष कौन लगाएगा? परमेश्वर वह है जो उन को धर्मी ठहराने वाला है।
34. फिर कौन है जो दण्ड की आज्ञा देगा? मसीह वह है जो मर गया वरन मुर्दों में से जी भी उठा, और परमेश्वर की दाहिनी ओर है, और हमारे लिये निवेदन भी करता है।
Eph 5:25-27
Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, 26 that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, 27 so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish.
25. हे पतियों, अपनी अपनी पत्नी से प्रेम रखो, जैसा मसीह ने भी कलीसिया से प्रेम करके अपने आप को उसके लिये दे दिया।
26. कि उस को वचन के द्वारा जल के स्नान से शुद्ध करके पवित्र बनाए।
27. और उसे एक ऐसी तेजस्वी कलीसिया बना कर अपने पास खड़ी करे, जिस में न कलंक, न झुर्री, न कोई ऐसी वस्तु हो, वरन पवित्र और निर्दोष हो।
1Cor 15:3
For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures,
3. इसी कारण मैं ने सब से पहिले तुम्हें वही बात पहुंचा दी, जो मुझे पहुंची थी, कि पवित्र शास्त्र के वचन के अनुसार यीशु मसीह हमारे पापों के लिये मर गया।
Heb 7:25-27
25 Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them. 26 For it was indeed fitting that we should have such a high priest, holy, innocent, unstained, separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens. 27 He has no need, like those high priests, to offer sacrifices daily, first for his own sins and then for those of the people, since he did this once for all when he offered up himself.
25. इसी लिये जो उसके द्वारा परमेश्वर के पास आते हैं, वह उन का पूरा पूरा उद्धार कर सकता है, क्योंकि वह उन के लिये बिनती करने को सर्वदा जीवित है॥
26. सो ऐसा ही महायाजक हमारे योग्य था, जो पवित्र, और निष्कपट और निर्मल, और पापियों से अलग, और स्वर्ग से भी ऊंचा किया हुआ हो।
27. और उन महायाजकों की नाईं उसे आवश्यक नहीं कि प्रति दिन पहिले अपने पापों और फिर लोगों के पापों के लिये बलिदान चढ़ाए; क्योंकि उस ने अपने आप को बलिदान चढ़ाकर उसे एक ही बार निपटा दिया।
Heb 9:11-12
But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things that have come, then through the greater and more perfect tent ( not made with hands, that is, not of this creation) 12 he entered once for all into the holy places, not by means of the blood of goats and calves but by means of his own blood, thus securing an eternal redemption.
11. परन्तु जब मसीह आने वाली अच्छी अच्छी वस्तुओं का महायाजक होकर आया, तो उस ने और भी बड़े और सिद्ध तम्बू से होकर जो हाथ का बनाया हुआ नहीं, अर्थात इस सृष्टि का नहीं।
12. और बकरों और बछड़ों के लोहू के द्वारा नहीं, पर अपने ही लोहू के द्वारा एक ही बार पवित्र स्थान में प्रवेश किया, और अनन्त छुटकारा प्राप्त किया।
Heb 9:15
Therefore he is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, since a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant.
15. और इसी कारण वह नई वाचा का मध्यस्थ है, ताकि उस मृत्यु के द्वारा जो पहिली वाचा के समय के अपराधों से छुटकारा पाने के लिये हुई है, बुलाए हुए लोग प्रतिज्ञा के अनुसार अनन्त मीरास को प्राप्त करें।
Heb 9:-28
28 so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.
28. वैसे ही मसीह भी बहुतों के पापों को उठा लेने के लिये एक बार बलिदान हुआ और जो लोग उस की बाट जोहते हैं, उन के उद्धार के लिये दूसरी बार बिना पाप के दिखाई देगा॥
1Pet 3:18
For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us[9] to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit, 19 in which he went and proclaimed to the spirits in prison, 20 because they formerly did not obey, when God’s patience waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were brought safely through water.
क्योंकि मसीह ने भी हमारे पापों के लिए दुःख उठाया। अर्थात् वह जो निर्दोष था हम पापियों के लिये एक बार मर गया कि हमें परमेश्वर के समीप ले जाये। शरीर के भाव से तो वह मारा गया पर आत्मा के भाव से जिलाया गया।
Rev 5:9-10
And they sang a new song, saying, “Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals, for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation, 10 and you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they shall reign on the earth.”
9. और वे यह नया गीत गाने लगे, कि तू इस पुस्तक के लेने, और उसकी मुहरें खोलने के योग्य है; क्योंकि तू ने वध हो कर अपने लोहू से हर एक कुल, और भाषा, और लोग, और जाति में से परमेश्वर के लिये लोगों को मोल लिया है।
10. और उन्हें हमारे परमेश्वर के लिये एक राज्य और याजक बनाया; और वे पृथ्वी पर राज्य करते हैं।
Rev 13:7-8
Also it was allowed to make war on the saints and to conquer them. And authority was given it over every tribe and people and language and nation, 8 and all who dwell on earth will worship it, everyone whose name has not been written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slain
7. और उसे यह अधिकार दिया गया, कि पवित्र लोगों से लड़े, और उन पर जय पाए, और उसे हर एक कुल, और लोग, और भाषा, और जाति पर अधिकार दिया गया।
8. और पृथ्वी के वे सब रहने वाले जिन के नाम उस मेम्ने की जीवन की पुस्तक में लिखे नहीं गए, जो जगत की उत्पत्ति के समय से घात हुआ है, उस पशु की पूजा करेंगे।
Rom 5:9-10
Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. 10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.
9. सो जब कि हम, अब उसके लोहू के कारण धर्मी ठहरे, तो उसके द्वारा क्रोध से क्यों न बचेंगे?
10. क्योंकि बैरी होने की दशा में तो उसके पुत्र की मृत्यु के द्वारा हमारा मेल परमेश्वर के साथ हुआ फिर मेल हो जाने पर उसके जीवन के कारण हम उद्धार क्यों न पाएंगे?
Isa 53:6
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned—every one—to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
6. हम तो सब के सब भेड़ों की नाईं भटक गए थे; हम में से हर एक ने अपना अपना मार्ग लिया; और यहोवा ने हम सभों के अधर्म का बोझ उसी पर लाद दिया॥
Isa 53:
12Therefore I will divide him a portion with the many, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong, because he poured out his soul to death and was numbered with the transgressors; yet he bore the sin of many, and makes intercession for the transgressors.
12. इस कारण मैं उसे महान लोगों के संग भाग दूंगा, और, वह सामर्थियों के संग लूट बांट लेगा; क्योंकि उसने अपना प्राण मृत्यु के लिये उण्डेल दिया, वह अपराधियों के संग गिना गया; तौभी उसने बहुतों के पाप का बोझ उठ लिया, और, अपराधियों के लिये बिनती करता है॥
2Cor 5:21 For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
21. जो पाप से अज्ञात था, उसी को उस ने हमारे लिये पाप ठहराया, कि हम उस में होकर परमेश्वर की धामिर्कता बन जाएं॥
Heb 9:25-28

28. वैसे ही मसीह भी बहुतों के पापों को उठा लेने के लिये एक बार बलिदान हुआ और जो लोग उस की बाट जोहते हैं, उन के उद्धार के लिये दूसरी बार बिना पाप के दिखाई देगा॥
Heb 13:11-12
For the bodies of those animals whose blood is brought into the holy places by the high priest as a sacrifice for sin are burned outside the camp. 12 So Jesus also suffered outside the gate in order to sanctify the people through his own blood.
11. क्योंकि जिन पशुओं का लोहू महायाजक पाप-बलि के लिये पवित्र स्थान में ले जाता है, उन की देह छावनी के बाहर जलाई जाती है।
12. इसी कारण, यीशु ने भी लोगों को अपने ही लोहू के द्वारा पवित्र करने के लिये फाटक के बाहर दुख उठाया।
1Pet 2:24
He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.
24. वह आप ही हमारे पापों को अपनी देह पर लिए हुए क्रूस पर चढ़ गया जिस से हम पापों के लिये मर कर के धामिर्कता के लिये जीवन बिताएं: उसी के मार खाने से तुम चंगे हुए।
1Pet 3:18-20
For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God,
18. इसलिये कि मसीह ने भी, अर्थात अधमिर्यों के लिये धर्मी ने पापों के कारण एक बार दुख उठाया, ताकि हमें परमेश्वर के पास पहुंचाए: वह शरीर के भाव से तो घात किया गया, पर आत्मा के भाव से जिलाया गया।
19. उसी में उस ने जाकर कैदी आत्माओं को भी प्रचार किया।
20. जिन्होंने उस बीते समय में आज्ञा न मानी जब परमेश्वर नूह के दिनों में धीरज धर कर ठहरा रहा, और वह जहाज बन रहा था, जिस में बैठकर थोड़े लोग अर्थात आठ प्राणी पानी के द्वारा बच गए।
1Ch 17:20-21
There is none like you, O LORD, and there is no God besides you, according to all that we have heard with our ears. 21 And who is like your people Israel, the one nation on earth whom God went to redeem to be his people, making for yourself a name for great and awesome things, in driving out nations before your people whom you redeemed from Egypt?
20. हे यहोवा! जो कुछ हम ने अपने कानों से सुना है, उसके अनुसार तेरे तुल्य कोई नहीं, और न तुझे छोड़ और कोई परमेश्वर है।
21. फिर तेरी प्रजा इस्राएल के भी तुल्य कौन है? वह तो पृथ्वी भर में एक ही जाति है, उसे परमेश्वर ने जा कर अपनी निज प्रजा करने को छुड़ाया, इसलिये कि तू बड़े और डरावने काम कर के अपना नाम करे, और अपनी प्रजा के साम्हने से जो तू ने मिस्र से छुड़ा ली थी, जाति जाति के लोगों को निकाल दे।
Isa 53:10-11
Yet it was the will of the LORD to crush him; he has put him to grief; when his soul makes an offering for guilt, he shall see his offspring; he shall prolong his days; the will of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. 11 Out of the anguish of his soul he shall see and be satisfied; by his knowledge shall the righteous one, my servant, make many to be accounted righteous, and he shall bear their iniquities.
10. तौभी यहोवा को यही भाया कि उसे कुचले; उसी ने उसको रोगी कर दिया; जब तू उसका प्राण दोषबलि करे, तब वह अपना वंश देखने पाएगा, वह बहुत दिन जीवित रहेगा; उसके हाथ से यहोवा की इच्छा पूरी हो जाएगी।
11. वह अपने प्राणों का दु:ख उठा कर उसे देखेगा और तृप्त होगा; अपने ज्ञान के द्वारा मेरा धर्मी दास बहुतेरों को धर्मी ठहराएगा; और उनके अधर्म के कामों का बोझ आप उठा लेगा।
Mt 1:21
She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.
Mt 22:14
For many are called, but few are chosen.

37. जो कुछ पिता मुझे देता है वह सब मेरे पास आएगा, उसे मैं कभी न निकालूंगा।

To him the gatekeeper opens. The sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4 When he has brought out all his own, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.
3. उसके लिये द्वारपाल द्वार खोल देता है, और भेंड़ें उसका शब्द सुनती हैं, और वह अपनी भेड़ों को नाम ले लेकर बुलाता है और बाहर ले जाता है।
4. और जब वह अपनी सब भेड़ों को बाहर निकाल चुकता है, तो उन के आगे आगे चलता है, और भेड़ें उसके पीछे पीछे हो लेती हैं; क्योंकि वे उसका शब्द पहचानती हैं।

I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
11. अच्छा चरवाहा मैं हूं; अच्छा चरवाहा भेड़ों के लिये अपना प्राण देता है।
Acts 20:28
Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood.
28. क्योंकि मैं परमेश्वर की सारी मनसा को तुम्हें पूरी रीति से बनाने से न झिझका।
Heb 9:15
Therefore he is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, since a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant.
15. और इसी कारण वह नई वाचा का मध्यस्थ है, ताकि उस मृत्यु के द्वारा जो पहिली वाचा के समय के अपराधों से छुटकारा पाने के लिये हुई है, बुलाए हुए लोग प्रतिज्ञा के अनुसार अनन्त मीरास को प्राप्त करें।
1Pet 2:7-9
So the honor is for you who believe, but for those who do not believe, “The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone,” 8 and “A stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense.” They stumble because they disobey the word, as they were destined to do. 9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
7. सो तुम्हारे लिये जो विश्वास करते हो, वह तो बहुमूल्य है, पर जो विश्वास नहीं करते उन के लिये जिस पत्थर को राजमिस्त्रीयों ने निकम्मा ठहराया था, वही कोने का सिरा हो गया।
8. और ठेस लगने का पत्थर और ठोकर खाने की चट्टान हो गया है: क्योंकि वे तो वचन को न मान कर ठोकर खाते हैं और इसी के लिये वे ठहराए भी गए थे।
9. पर तुम एक चुना हुआ वंश, और राज-पदधारी याजकों का समाज, और पवित्र लोग, और (परमेश्वर की ) निज प्रजा हो, इसलिये कि जिस ने तुम्हें अन्धकार में से अपनी अद्भुत ज्योति में बुलाया है, उसके गुण प्रगट करो।
“For I have told him that I am about to judge his house forever for the iniquity which he knew, because his sons brought a curse on themselves and he did not rebuke them. 14 And therefore I have sworn to the house of Eli that the iniquity of Eli’s house shall not be atoned for by sacrifice or offering forever.”
The question is that if Jesus bore the sin of everyone who ever lived, then why is the house of Eli’s sins never to be atoned for? (1 Sam. 3:13-14).
13. क्योंकि मैं तो उसको यह कहकर जता चुका हूं, कि मैं उस अधर्म का दण्ड जिसे वह जानता है सदा के लिये उसके घर का न्याय करूंगा, क्योंकि उसके पुत्र आप शापित हुए हैं, और उसने उन्हें नहीं रोका।
14. इस कारण मैं ने एली के घराने के विषय यह शपथ खाई, कि एली के घराने के अधर्म का प्रायश्चित न तो मेलबलि से कभी होगा, और न अन्नबलि से।
