इस शिक्षा का अर्थ यह है की परमेश्वर का अनुग्रह चुने हुओं का जब बचाने आता है तो वो इसको नहीं रोक सकते. उनका उद्धार होकर रहताहै. इसका अर्थ यह भी नहीं की परमेश्वर किसी को जबरदस्ती उठाकर स्वर्ग ले जा रहा है. इसका अर्थ यह भी नहीं की मनुष्य केवल रोबोट है. इसका अर्थ यह है की परमेश्वर अपने चुने हुओं के अंदर से उनके पत्थर के ह्रदय निकाल कर मांस के ह्रदय रख देते हैं और अपना आत्मा उन मे डालकर अपने आत्मा के द्वारा ऐसा करते हैं की वो उसकी आज्ञाओं पर चला फिर करे. पहले मनुष्य शैतान की संतान, पाप में मरा हुआ, पाप का गुलाम, क्रोध की संतान और परमेश्वर का दुश्मन होता है, परन्तु जब परमेश्वर का अप्रतिरोध्य (ना रुकने वाला) अनुग्रह आता है तो मनुष्य परमेश्वर से नया जन्म पाता है और वह परमेश्वर की संतान, धार्मिकता का गुलाम, धार्मिकता के काम करने में इच्छुक और समर्थ बन जाता है. चूँकि उसे नया स्वाभाव मिल जाता है और उसके साथ नई इच्छाएं, नए स्नेह, विश्वास, पश्चाताप और धार्मिकता का दान मिल जाता है तो वो स्वेच्छा और प्रसन्नता से यीशु मसीह के पीछे हो लेता है. इस शिक्षा या सिद्धांत को हम बाइबल की हर किताब में बहुतायात और स्पष्टता के साथ देख सकते हैं. उनमे से कुछ साक्षी आयतें (prooftexts) हम नीचे दे रहें हैं.
Ps 110:3
Your people will offer themselves freely on the day of your power.
3. तेरी प्रजा के लोगर तेरे पराक्रम के दिन स्वेच्छाबलि बनते हैं; तेरे जवान लोग पवित्राता से शोभायमान, और भोर के गर्भ से जन्मी हुई ओस के समान तेरे पास हैं।
Mt 16:15-17
He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” 16 Simon Peter replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” 17 And Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.
15. उस ने उन से कहा; परन्तु तुम मुझे क्या कहते हो
16. शमौन पतरस ने उत्तर दिया, कि तू जीवते परमेश्वर का पुत्र मसीह है।
17. यीशु ने उस को उत्तर दिया, कि हे शमौन योना के पुत्र, तू धन्य है; क्योंकि मांस और लोहू ने नहीं, परन्तु मेरे पिता ने जो स्वर्ग में है, यह बात तुझ पर प्रगट की है।
Lk 10:21-22
In that same hour he rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said, “I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children; yes, Father, for such was your gracious will. 22 All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, or who the Father is except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.”
21. उसी घड़ी वह पवित्र आत्क़ा में होकर आनन्द से भर गया, और कहा; हे पिता, स्वर्ग और पृय्वी के प्रभु, मैं तेरा धन्यवाद करता हूं, कि तू ने इन बातोंको ज्ञानियोंऔर समझदारोंसे छिपा रखा, और बालकोंपर प्रगट किया: हां, हे पित, क्योंकि तुझे यही अच्छा लगा।
22. मेरे पिता ने मुझे सब कुछ सौंप दिया है और कोई नहीं जानता कि पुत्र कौन है केवल पिता और पिता कौन है यह भी कोई नहीं जानता, केवल पुत्र के और वह जिस पर पुत्र उसे प्रकट करना चाहे।
Jn 6:37-40
All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out. 38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me. 39 And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day. 40 For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.”
37 जो कुछ पिता मुझे देता है वह सब मेरे पास आएगा, उसे मैं कभी न निकालूंगा।
38. क्योंकि मैं अपक्की इच्छा नहीं, बरन अपके भेजनेवाले की इच्छा पूरी करने के लिथे स्वर्ग से उतरा हूं।
39. और मेरे भेजनेवाले की इच्छा यह है कि जो कुछ उस ने मुझे दिया है, उस में से मैं कुछ न खोऊं परन्तु उसे अंतिम दिन फिर जिला उठाऊं।
40. क्योंकि मेरे पिता की इच्छा यह है, कि जो कोई पुत्र को देखे, और उस पर विश्वास करे, वह अनन्त जीवन पाए; और मैं उसे अंतिम दिन फिर जिला उठाऊंगा।
Jn 6:44-46
No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day. 45 It is written in the Prophets, ‘And they will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to me
44 कोई मेरे पास नहीं आ सकता, जब तक पिता, जिस ने मुझे भेजा है, उसे खींच न ले; और मैं उस को अंतिम दिन फिर जिला उठाऊंगा।
45. भविष्यद्वक्ताओं के लेखोंमें यह लिखा है, कि वे सब परमेश्वर की ओर से सिखाए हुए होंगे। जिस किसी ने पिता से सुना और सीखा है, वह मेरे पास आता है।
46. यह नहीं, कि किसी ने पिता को देखा परन्तु जो परमेश्वर की ओर से है, केवल उसी ने पिता को देखा है
Acts 5:31
God exalted him at his right hand as Leader and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.
31 उसी को परमेश्वर ने प्रभु और उद्धारक ठहराकर, अपके दिहने हाथ से सर्वोच्च कर दिया, कि वह इस्त्राएलियोंको मन फिराव की शक्ति और पापोंकी झमा प्रदान करे।
Acts 11:18
When they heard these things they fell silent. And they glorified God, saying, “Then to the Gentiles also God has granted repentance that leads to life.”
18 यह सुनकर, वे चुप रहे, और परमेश्वर की बड़ाई करके कहने लगे, तक तो परमेश्वर ने अन्यजातियोंको भी जीवन के लिथे मन फिराव का दान दिया है।।
Acts 13:46-48
And Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly, saying, “It was necessary that the word of God be spoken first to you. Since you thrust it aside and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold, we are turning to the Gentiles. 47 For so the Lord has commanded us, saying, “‘I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’” 48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord, and as many as were appointed to eternal life believed.
46 तब पोलुस और बरनबास ने निडर होकर कहा, अवश्य या, कि परमेश्वर का वचन पहिले तुम्हें सुनाया जाता: परन्तु जब कि तुम उसे दूर करते हो, और अपके को अनन्त जीवन के योग्य नहीं ठहराते, तो देखो, हम अन्यजातियोंकी ओर फिरते हैं।
47. क्योकिं प्रभु ने हमें यह आज्ञा दी है; कि मै। ने तुझे अन्याजातियोंके लिथे ज्योति ठहराया है; ताकि तू पृय्वी की छोर तक उद्धार का द्वार हो।
48. यह सुनकर अन्यजाति आनन्दित हुए, और परमेश्वर के वचन की बड़ाई करने लगे: और जितने अनन्त जीवन के लिथे ठहराए गए थे, उन्होंने विश्वास किया।
Rom 8:29-30
For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. 30 And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.
29 क्योंकि जिन्हें उस ने पहिले से जान लिया है उन्हें पहिले से ठहराया भी है कि उसके पुत्र के स्वरूप में होंताकि वह बहुत भाइयोंमें पहिलौठा ठहरे।
30. फिर जिन्हें उन से पहिले से ठहराया, उन्हें बुलाया भी, और जिन्हें बुलाया, उन्हें धर्मी भी ठहराया है, और जिन्हें धर्मी ठहराया, उन्हें महिमा भी दी है।।
Rom 9:15
For he says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.” 16 So then it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God, who has mercy.
15 क्योंकि वह मूसा से कहता है, मैं जिस किसी पर दया करना चाहूं, उस पर दया करूंगा, और जिस किसी पर कृपा करना चाहूं उसी पर कृपा करूंगा।
Rom 11:25
Lest you be wise in your own sight, I do not want you to be unaware of this mystery, brothers: a partial hardening has come upon Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.
25 हे भाइयों, कहीं ऐसा न हो, कि तुम अपके आप को बुद्धिमान समझ लो; इसलिथे मैं नहीं चाहता कि तुम इस भेद से अनजान रहो, कि जब तक अन्यजातियां पूरी रीति से प्रवेश न कर लें, तब तक इस्त्राएल का एक भाग ऐसा ही कठोर रहेगा।
Eph 2:8-9
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
8 क्योंकि विश्वास के द्वारा अनुग्रह ही से तुम्हारा उद्धार हुआ है, और यह तुम्हारी ओर से नहीं, बरन परमेश्वर का दान है।
9. और न कर्मोंके कारण, ऐसा न हो कि कोई घमण्ड करे।
Jn 1:13
who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.
13 वे न तो लोहू से, न शरीर की इच्छा से, न मनुष्य की इच्छा से, परन्तु परमेश्वर से उत्पन्न हुए हैं।
Jn 3:3-8
Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” 4 Nicodemus said to him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?” 5 Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
3 यीशु ने उस को उत्तर दिया; कि मैं तुझ से सच सच कहता हूं, यदि कोई नथे सिक्के से न जन्क़ें तो परमेश्वर का राज्य देख नहीं सकता।
4. नीकुदेमुस ने उस से कहा, मनुष्य जब बूढ़ा हो गया, तो क्योंकर जन्क़ ले सकता है
5. यीशु ने उत्तर दिया, कि मैं तुझ से सच सच कहता हूं; जब तक कोई मनुष्य जल और आत्क़ा से न जन्क़े तो वह परमेश्वर के राज्य में प्रवेश नहीं कर सकता।
6. क्योंकि जो शरीर से जन्क़ा है, वह शरीर है; और जो आत्क़ा से जन्क़ा है, वह आत्क़ा है।
7. अचम्भा न कर, कि मैं ने तुझ से कहा; कि तुम्हें नथे सिक्के से जन्क़ लेना अवश्य है।
8. हवा जिधर चाहती है उधर चलती है, और तू उसका शब्द सुनता है, परन्तु नहीं जानता, कि वह कहां से आती और किधर को जाती है जो कोई आत्क़ा से जन्क़ा है वह ऐसा ही है।
Jn 5:21
For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom he will.
21 क्योकि जैसा पिता मरे हुओं को उठाता और जिलाता है, वैसा ही पुत्र भी जिन्हें चाहता है उन्हें जिलाता है।
Rom 6:3-4
Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4 We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.
3 क्या तुम नहीं जानते, कि हम जितनोंने मसीह यीशु का बपतिस्क़ा लिया तो उस की मृत्यु का बपतिस्क़ा लिया
4. सो उस मृत्यु का बपतिस्क़ा पाने से हम उसके साय गाड़े गए, ताकि जैसे मसीह पिता की महिमा के द्वारा मरे हुओं में से जिलाया गया, वैसे ही हम भी नए जीवन की सी चाल चलें।
Col 2:13-14
And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, 14 by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross.
13 और उस ने तुम्हें भी, जो अपके अपराधों, और अपके शरीर की खतनारिहत दशा में मुर्दा थे, उसे साय जिलाया, और हमारे सब अपराधोंको झमा किया।
14. और विधियोंका वह लेख जो हमारे नाम पर और हमारे विरोध में या मिटा डाला; और उस को क्रूस पर कीलोंसे जड़कर साम्हने से हटा दिया है।
2Cor 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
17 सो यदि कोई मसीह में है तो वह नई सृष्टि है: पुरानी बातें बीत गई हैं; देखो, वे सब नई हो गईं।
Titus 3:4-7
But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, 5 he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on usrichly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
4 पर जब हमारे उद्धारकर्ता परमेश्वर की कृपा, और मनुष्योंपर उसकी प्रीति प्रगट हुई।
5. तो उस ने हमारा उद्धार किया: और यह धर्म के कामोंके कारण नहीं, जो हम ने आप किए, पर अपक्की दया के अनुसार, नए जन्क़ के स्नान, और पवित्र आत्क़ा के हमें नया बनाने के द्वारा हुआ।
6. जिसे उस ने हमारे उद्धारकर्ता यीशु मसीह के द्वारा हम पर अधिकाई से उंडेला।
7. जिस से हम उसके अनुग्रह से धर्मी ठहरकर, अनन्त जीवन की आशा के अनुसार वारिस बनें।
James 1:18
Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
18 उस ने अपक्की ही इच्छा से हमें सत्य के वचन के द्वारा उत्पन्न किया, ताकि हम उस की सृष्टि की हुई वस्तुओं में से एक प्रकार के प्रयम फल हों।।
1Pet 1:3
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead
3 हमारे प्रभु यीशु मसीह के परमेश्वर और पिता का धन्यवाद दो, जिस ने यीशु मसीह को मरे हुओं में से जी उठने के द्वारा, अपक्की बड़ी दया से हमें जीवित आशा के लिथे नया जन्क़ दिया।
1Jn 5:1
Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God.
1 जिसका यह विश्वास है कि यीशु ही मसीह है, वह परमेश्वर से उत्पन्न हुआ है और जो कोई उत्पन्न करनेवाले से प्रेम रखता है, वह उस से भी प्रेम रखता है, जो उस से उत्पन्न हुआ है।
John 10:27-28
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28 And I give unto them eternal life
27 मेरी भेड़ें मेरा शब्द सुनती हैं, और मैं उन्हें जानता हूं, और वे मेरे पीछे पीछे चलती हैं।
28. और मैं उन्हें अनन्त जीवन देता हूं, और वे कभी नाश नहीं होंगी, और कोई उन्हें मेरे हाथ से छीन न लेगा।
Jn 10:25-26
Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in my Father’s name bear witness about me, 26 but you do not believe because you are not among my sheep.
25 यीशु ने उन्हें उत्तर दिया, कि मैं ने तुम से कह दिया, और तुम प्रतीति करते ही नहीं, जो काम मैं अपके पिता के नाम से करता हूं वे ही मेरे गवाह हैं।
26. परन्तु तुम इसलिथे प्रतीति नहीं करते, कि मेरी भेड़ोंमें से नहीं हो।
Jn 12:37-40
Though he had done so many signs before them, they still did not believe in him, 38 so that the word spoken by the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled: “Lord, who has believed what he heard from us, and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?” 39 Therefore they could not believe. For again Isaiah said, 40 “He has blinded their eyes and hardened their heart, lest they see with their eyes, and understand with their heart, and turn, and I would heal them.”
37 और उस ने उन के साम्हने इतने चिन्ह दिखाए, तौभी उन्होंने उस पर विश्वास न किया।
38. ताकि यशायाह भविष्यद्वक्ता का वचन पूरा हो जो उस ने कहा कि हे प्रभु हमारे समाचार की किस ने प्रतीति की है और प्रभु का भुजबल किस पर प्रगट हुआ
39. इस कारण वे विश्वास न कर सके, क्योंकि यशायाह ने फिर भी कहा।
40. कि उस ने उन की आंखें अन्धी, और उन का मन कठोर किया है; कहीं ऐसा न हो, कि आंखोंसे देखें, और मन से समझें, और फिरें, और मैं उन्हें चंगा करूं।
Daniel 4:35
“All the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing, But He does according to His will in the host of heaven And among the inhabitants of earth; And no one can ward off His hand Or say to Him, ‘What have You done?’
35 पृय्वी के सब रहनेवाले उसके साम्हने तुच्छ गिने जाते हैं, और वह स्वर्ग की सेना और पृय्वी के रहनेवालोंके बीच अपक्की इच्छा के अनुसार काम करता है; और कोई उसको रोककर उस से नहीं कह सकता है, तू ने यह क्या किया है?
